Testing is carried out using the principles of Kinesiology, a method commonly referred to as ‘muscle testing’ which reliably detects the imbalance in the body caused by an allergen.
Allergens are treated and cleared one at a time in a specific sequence known as the basic 18 – the essential nutrients and constituents of the immune system (e.g. egg, dairy, grains, vitamin c, vitamin B12, enzymes etc.). Treating allergies to these nutrients will enhance the body’s ability to absorb and utilise them to full effect, which will bring about significant improvements in one’s health.
After each treatment, the substance must be completely avoided for 25 hours to allow the new information to travel and imprint itself through all the meridian pathways of the body, allowing full completion of the treatment. Information and support is provided to make the avoidance as easy as possible.
Children/babies or those physically incapable (weak or disabled) can be tested and treated through a surrogate i.e. parent/carer/friend.
Normally only one allergen is treated at a time, and that is all it takes to eliminate an allergy, though sensitive individuals may need subsequent combination treatments.

*BBF = This is to balance the overall energy of the body. If the overall energy of the body is not in a balanced state, an individual can experience difficulty in clearing other allergens in the list.
The NAET® method does not reject or disparage any other form of medical practice nor does it interfere with any other type of treatment. It can be considered a complementary method to all other therapies and performed safely in conjunction with them.
